Entre los reportes destac\u00f3 un grave incidente ocurrido el <strong data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"676\">8 de mayo de 2025<\/strong>, que involucr\u00f3 a un cachorro de caniche miniatura llamado <strong data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"744\">Cosmo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"1049\">De acuerdo con la investigaci\u00f3n, Cosmo se encontraba <strong data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"827\">en buen estado de salud<\/strong> inmediatamente antes de quedar a solas con Hershman. Poco despu\u00e9s, miembros del personal escucharon un <strong data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"948\">fuerte gemido<\/strong> y hallaron al cachorro <strong data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1048\">sangrando por la boca, temblando y con dificultad para mantenerse en pie<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1459\">Ex\u00e1menes veterinarios realizados en los d\u00edas posteriores confirmaron que Cosmo presentaba <strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1212\">una fractura de premolar y una fractura mandibular del lado derecho<\/strong>, lesiones que requirieron <strong data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1261\">m\u00faltiples cirug\u00edas<\/strong>. Tanto el veterinario tratante como un <strong data-start=\"1301\" data-end=\"1344\">especialista en odontolog\u00eda veterinaria<\/strong> concluyeron de manera independiente que las heridas fueron causadas por <strong data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1458\">un impacto contundente de gran fuerza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1775\">Los hallazgos de la investigaci\u00f3n determinaron que el cachorro sufri\u00f3 <strong data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1561\">dolor severo e innecesario<\/strong> como resultado de las acciones de Hershman.
